Foxconn Introductory Trainee (FIT) Program

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
Foxconn believes a key to long-term success is an on-going focus on talent recruitment and development. The objective of this program is to identify engineering talent who also have the potential to become leaders and business contributors at Foxconn. We want to hire and provide this select population a comprehensive 6 –12 month training program abroad, offering them a tremendous opportunity to develop skills and gain an appreciation for Foxconn and the many opportunities the company offers.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The FIT Program is an intense 6 -12 month effort designed to introduce participants to:

Company Overview, Values and Culture

Manufacturing Methods

Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Design Engineering

Finance

Sales & Marketing
Participants will be assigned projects and receive a combination of classroom, web-based training, and on-the-job experiential learning.

TRAINING
Participants will be required to live, train, and work at one or more of the Foxconn locations in China. Participants may be expected to work six days each week, the standard workweek in China, receiving time off with pay at midpoint or completion of training, length of time off dependent on length of training program.
Prior to traveling to China, FIT Program participants will take part in a teambuilding program that will offer a company introduction and overview as well opportunities to get acquainted with each other. This teambuilding program will be conducted at or near one of our major locations in the U.S.

Post-training, Permanent Placement
This program is designed to prepare participants for a successful transition into the US Foxconn workforce by helping them develop the company know-how, global network and job skills necessary to have an immediate impact on business results in Sales & Marketing, Design Engineering or Research & Development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education :

B.S. Engineering Degree, or

M.S. Engineering Degree, or

M.B.A.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus but not required

Active participation in university sponsored clubs or organizations
